Hours of Operation:
Daycare hours are from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If your child will not attend, please notify me before 7:30 a.m. that day. Your hours of care are as listed within our contract. The National Association for the Education of Young Children recommends a restriction of ten (10) hours per day for a child in daycare for the welfare of the child. I will provide care for your child as per the hours listed within this agreement, which is based on your work hours and commute time. Fees will be applied accordingly for late pick-ups and early drops offs.
Payment Schedules / Fees:
Weekly tuition is due in advance of services being provided. Payment should be made on Friday and will be considered late if not received by Friday afternoon. If payment is not received prior to your child arriving on Monday, I will reserve the right to deny your child's admittance to daycare on Monday and until payment is made. A late charge of $5.00 per day per child will be charged for payments received late. If you know that you will be off on Friday, payment should be made earlier in the week and I will hold your check until Friday.
You may pay by cash or check. A $45.00 fee will be assessed for returned checks. In addition, you will also be responsible for reimbursing me for any other charges that are assessed on my account due to non-payment of your check. Two returned checks will result in your account being placed on a "Cash Only" basis.
Please be aware that there is a late fee for ALL late pick ups. The fees will vary depending on your pick up time and will be written in your contract. A fee of $9.75 per hour or fraction thereof will be applied for early drop offs not previously discussed.
Please do not ask me to hold any payments beyond the due date. All checks will be deposited / cashed on the date they are due. There are no exceptions.
Please do not bring a child to daycare if they are experiencing a fever of 99.9, diarrhea, vomiting, have green/yellow nasal discharge, or have a contagious illness. If they are too sick to go outside or participate in daily activities, they are too ill to be at childcare. When a child is uncomfortable from any ailment (sunburn, poison ivy, etc.) to the point where supplying care to that child begins to impact the other children's day, you will be required to pick him/her up immediately.
Visitation:
My daycare has an "open door" policy. However, I ask that courtesy be exhibited. I ask that these visits not be made between the hours of 11:30 to 3:15 as this is lunch and nap times.
I ask that your presence does not disturb the harmony of the daycare environment. Also keep in mind that I must continue to give the children my undivided attention
Withdrawal or Discharge Policy:
Reasons for possible discharge are as follows:
1)If a child is having an extremely difficult time adjusting to his/her parent leaving or is making it difficult for me to properly care for the other children. It is not abnormal for most children to be upset upon being dropped off at a new day care; I will try my best to help the child adjust to their new schedule however in some incidents the child may not adjust.
2)If a child exhibits severe emotional or social problems which are detrimental to the other children in my daycare home.
3)If a child is prone to destructive behaviors which result in constant, severe, or recurrent damage to others, the home, or it's contents. Please be advised that if your child causes any damage or destruction to the home or its contents, you will be held liable for at least 50% of the replacement cost.
A two week notice is required when you plan to withdraw your child. You are responsible for two weeks of tuition if you do not give the required notice. Absences of over one week without notification or payment of tuition will result in an automatic withdrawal. You will still be responsible for the two weeks of tuition. Re-admittance will include all back pay including late fees. The client must pay for this time period regardless of any other term
